There is no such thing as blind chance. God directs the world and everything occurs in heaven and under the heavens according to the judgment of the all-wise and omnipotent God. Who is unfathomable in His wisdom and omnipotence, incomprehensible in His mastery of the world. God directs the world.

God directs the world.
Let His reasoning creatures submit to Him, and let His servants reverently contemplate His majestic mastery of the world, praising it in wonder and in bewilderment, for it surpasses their knowledge.
Only blind sinners do not see His direction. They invented blind chance, so devoid of any reasoning. The incorrectness of their views, the stupidity of their points of view, their darkened and perverted judgments - these they do not acknowledge. They claim that the direction of God has no righteous meaning. They blaspheme God's direction and activity in the world, so full of wisdom, calling it irrational.
"He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the world." Psalm 104:7 "The judgments of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether" Psalm 18:10 There is nothing unjust in them! There is nothing unwise about them! They are justified by their consequences, their spiritual fruits; they are justified by the perfection of their all-perfect Source. Only the Orthodox Church is capable of praising God in a manner pleasing to God, only her true sons, faithful to her dogmatic and moral tradition, are capable of inheriting His blessing. God, "Who declareth His word unto Jacob, His statutes and ordinances unto Israel" reveals His salvific teaching to all the members of the Orthodox Church; but the mystery of evangelical truth and His judgments He only reveals, as much as this is possible, to His chosen ones who are capable of seeing God in His providence and in His direction of the world with a purified mind. God "hath not dealt so with every nation, neither hath He revealed His judgments unto them." Psalm 147:9
The vision of God's judgments is a spiritual vision. The mind of a Christian who labors properly in asceticism is raised by God's grace, in His own time, to this vision. The spiritual vision of the mind harmonizes with the heart in a spiritual, holy sensation, which is imbibes as though it were a sweet and fragrant drink that fills with nourishment, courage, and joy. Neither the mind of man, nor the mind of angels can examine this depth, just as our physical eye cannot see the vaults of the heavens that hide beyond the azure of the sky.
There is no such thing as blind chance.
Each of us will be judged, and judgment carries with it a sentence. The sheep to paradise, the goats to perdition. For eternity.
