Center of the Universe.

After Communion, the Priest enters the Holy Altar and places the Holy Things upon the Holy Table. The Deacon then holds the Holy Diskos over the Holy Chalice, and places the particles of commemoration (living/departed names) into the chalice, and says this hymn.

Rubrics from The Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom

Having beheld the Resurrection of Christ, let us worship the holy Lord Jesus, the Only Sinless One. We worship Thy Cross, O Christ, and Thy holy Resurrection we hymn and glorify, for Thou art our God, and we know none other beside Thee - we call upon Thy Name.

O come, all ye faithful, let us worship Christ's holy Resurrection, for behold, through the Cross, joy hath come to all the world.

Ever blessing the Lord, we hymn His Resurrection, for having endured crucifixion, He hath destroyed death by death.

Shine, Shine, O new Jerusalem! For the glory of the Lord has shone upon thee...

Dance now and be glad, O Sion and do thou exult, O pure Theotokos, in the resurrection of Him Whom thou didst bear. O great and most sacred Pascha, O Christ! O Wisdom, and Word of God, and Power!

Grant us more perfectly to partake of Thee, in the never ending day of Thy Kingdom.

As the particles are placed in the chalice the Deacon says:

By Thy Precious blood Lord, wash away the sins, of these Thy servants, here commemorated, through the intercession of all Thy Saints. Amen
